Whether you’re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing, Prior Permission is required. Jordan has its own set of rules, regulations, and procedures for granting permits to aircraft wishing to land or even enter their airspace, whether you’re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing.According to the Jordan CAA AIP, any aircraft owner/operator wishing to fly in Jordan airspace must apply for Jordan overflight clearance with the air transport department at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. Always remember to include AFTN in your flight plan, although you’ll only require a Jordan overflight permit.
Jordan is a member to the Chicago Convention, flight and crew conditions must closely adhere to the ICAO general rules of international air traffic and their regulations for the movement of soldiers, equipment, supplies, and dangerous items. Please contact us for more details.
