Whether you’re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing, Prior Permission is required. Martinique has its own set of rules, regulations, and procedures for granting permits to aircraft wishing to land or even enter their airspace, whether you’re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing.According to the Martinique CAA AIP, any aircraft owner/operator wishing to fly in Martinique airspace must apply for Martinique overflight clearance with the air transport department at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. Always remember to include AFTN in your flight plan, although you’ll only require a Martinique overflight permit.
