Whether youโ€™re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing, Prior Permission is required. Saudi Arabia has its own set of rules, regulations, and procedures for granting permits to aircraft wishing to land or even enter their airspace, whether youโ€™re flying a private, charter, scheduled or non-scheduled flight, passengers or cargo, a technical or traffic landing. According to the Saudi Arabia CAA AIP, any aircraft owner/operator wishing to fly in Saudi Arabia airspace must apply for Saudi Arabia overflight clearance with the air transport department 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
Saudi Arabia is a member to the Chicago Convention, flight and crew conditions must closely adhere to the ICAO general rules of international air traffic and their regulations for the movement of soldiers, equipment, supplies, and dangerous items. Please contact us for more details.
